With the Horizon Blue app, you get 24/7 access to your member ID card, plan information, as well as care and support from your smartphone or other mobile device.
Download the Horizon Blue app today by texting GetApp to 422-272, search for Horizon Blue in the App Store® or Google Play™, or scan this code with your phone’s camera. There is no cost to download the Horizon Blue app, but rates from your wireless carrier may apply.
Sign in to the app using the same username and password that you used to register for HorizonBlue.com. You can also use fingerprint or facial recognition to sign in to the Horizon Blue app.
With the Horizon Blue app, you can:
- Display, download, print and share your member ID card
- Get care and advice from health care professionals
- Use telemedicine to virtually meet with medical and behavioral health care professionals
- View your claims to see how much your health plan paid and any amount you may owe
- Find doctors and hospitals, and even schedule appointments
- Conveniently and easily submit medical claims to Horizon
- Check if a treatment or service is covered
- Track your deductible, if applicable, and maximum out-of-pocket costs
- Email or chat with a Member Services Representative to get answers to your questions
- Pay your premium bill online and set up Auto Pay, if you are an Individual or a Medicare Supplement member who purchased insurance for yourself or your family directly through Horizon or through Get Covered NJ

You have fast, secure and easy access to your member ID card virtually anywhere, anytime when you sign in to the Horizon Blue app.
Simply sign in with your secure username and password, and tap ID cards.
You will be able to view and download your member ID card right from the convenience of your smartphone, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
You can also share your ID card with your doctor’s office staff. For even easier access, you can save it to your device in Apple Wallet or Google Play.
Once signed in to the Horizon Blue app, you will also see names of everyone covered under your health plan.
And if you have dental coverage through Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, you will also be able to view and share your dental ID card, all from your smartphone or other mobile device.

No more waiting for the mail or sorting through piles of paperwork. With fast, digital access to your Explanation of Benefits statements – known as EOBs – Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is making it easy to view your claims, safely and securely, through the Horizon Blue app and our secure member website at HorizonBlue.com.
Once signed in, you can choose to be notified by email or text when your EOB is available to view. You can view your EOB weeks before you would receive it in the mail.
Your EOBs are available to view for 18 months, so they’re there when you need them. With convenient access to your health plan details, like EOBs and other important personal health information, you’ve got the power of paperless, right at your fingertips.
